Happy New Year, parents, students, alumni, and friends of Ballard Performing Arts! January and February will be unusually busy months with the first virtual concert of the year by our band, orchestra, and choirs, another chance to raise money for BPA with a Goodwill Truck, Spaghett Dinner (virtual!), and more.

Newsletter Going Bimonthly

Starting this week, and only while school is being held remotely, the Ballard Performing Arts newsletter will run every other Tuesday. We will continue to send standalone emails for important and breaking news. Please continue to send your news Fridays by 5 p.m. to bpabnews@gmail.com and it will get into the next newsletter.

The First Performance of the School Year

Save the date for the Ballard Performing Arts Collage Concert Virtual performance, Friday, January 22nd at 7 p.m.

Solo Festival Applications

February 1st - 12th

The Solo Festival application window will be open February 1st - 12th (previously known as solo and ensemble festival, being adjusted due to Covid this year). See your teacher for more details.

Goodwill Truck

January 30th 9 am - noon

The Goodwill truck is returning to the BHS North Parking Lot on Saturday, January 30th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Get your pre-holiday purges, new year’s resolution Marie Kondo-ing, outgrown clothes, outdated home decor, velvet dog paintings, and unused furniture ready; we’ll take it!
