Nate has just returned from the first mission trip of 2021 in Costa Rica! This was one of the first two international trips for 2021! This trip was designed for group leaders who are preparing to bring a 2021 mission team. Eight people attended, representing six teams that will be serving in Costa Rica later this year.

We were able to visit with four different pastors and experience church in different ways. One of the main things we wanted the group leaders to be part of was the Covid-19 protocols put in place by both PPM and Costa Rica.

I have to tell you, the Costa Rican church is still alive, active, and serving! We were so blessed to be invited into their church services and loved on in a Covid-safe way.

We were even able to serve with Pastor Edgar as we provided 10 bags of groceries to people in his community. Pastor Edgar was excited to minister along with us in this way!

The result of this trip is MISSION TRIPS ARE POSSIBLE! We did it all, experienced international travel, ate local meals, ate at a restaurant, shared testimonies, lodged with social distancing protocols, were temperature checked multiple times, encouraged and prayed over pastors, fed community members, washed and sanitized our hands (and bottoms of our shoes), participated in ministry to the community, and even got the necessary negative Covid tests needed in order to return to the USA!
