While we are all enjoying the last days of summer, The Parents Association wanted to highlight a few items as the start of school is only days away! As always, we are here to assist all St. Stephen families, so please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do to help!

USED UNIFORM SALE

Uniforms for sale! The PA will be having a Used Uniform Sale in the school store (downstairs) the morning of Tuesday, September 13th. Sale will run from 8:40am until 9:30am.

Blazers are $20 each. All other uniform items are $5. Cash or check only.

PARENT AMBASSADORS NEEDED

As mentioned in Principal Genova-Hall's recent email, the school is launching a new Parent Ambassador program starting Monday, September 12th. This program will involve parent volunteers as another set of eyes to monitor the happenings on the street during drop-off and pick-up. Please use the below link to sign up for September slots. We are asking for parents to sign up for a morning OR afternoon slot for an ENTIRE week. With the help of our wonderful parent community we know this endeavor will be a success!

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

We are so excited to be back in person for Back to School Night for the first time since 2019! Schedule information is below. The PA invites you to stay afterwards for wine and lite bites. We hope to see you there!

PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA!

To the delight of parents and students alike, Pizza Lunch is back! There will be 8 Pizza Lunches throughout the year. Please be on the lookout in the coming weeks for an email including all details (pricing and dates) as well as the sign-up form. It will be a one time sign up in which EVERY student will need to opt-in or out for the entire year. Your timely response will be much appreciated.

We are looking for a Pizza Lunch day-of coordinator, if interested please email The PA.

YEEHAW! IT'S A HOEDOWN Y'ALL!

Swing your partner round and round at a SSOH hoedown! Please join us Friday, September 30th for live music, food and fun for all as we square dance the night away. The hoedown will be the first in a series of family fun events the PA will be hosting this year. It will be a first come, first serve event so please be on the lookout for info on how to secure your tickets in the coming weeks. Yeehaw!

CARDINAL VISIT TO ST. MONICA'S

On Sunday, September 25th, His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan will be the celebrant at the 12 noon Mass for our annual celebration of our three Patrons: Saint Monica, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, and Saint Stephen of Hungary.

It would be wonderful to have a SSOH presence at the mass. We encourage all students in attendance to wear their uniform.

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL

For over 20 years, Box Tops for Education has given families an easy way to earn cash for their school, with products they already buy. St. Stephen of Hungary School has participated in the program for several years, earning funds for a variety of supplies. We are once again continuing our participation in the program.
