Students will pick up class schedule, OMNY Card (if applicable) and Student ID in the School Gymnasium.

Scanning at WHSAD!!!!

The Harry Van Arsdale Campus is a building that has mandatory metal detector scanning for all visitors. To ensure that students will be scanned in the building quickly, please note the following:

- Prior to entering the building please empty your pockets and place all items in your bag.

- All liquids must NOT go through the metal detectors, as they may be damaged. Please alert the security agents of any liquids in your bag prior to going through scanning.

- Glass bottles of any kind are not permitted in the building and will be confiscated.

- Kindly remove your hats and hoods when walking through the metal detectors.

Directions by Subway

• Take the L train to the Bedford or Metropolitan-Lorimer stop or Take the G Train to the Metropolitan-Lorimer stop.
• From the Metropolitan-Lorimer stop: walk towards, then under, the BQE. Cross Meeker and continue up North 6th. Take a right when you reach Roebling for the main entrance to the school.

• From the Bedford stop: Walk east on North 7th from Bedford Avenue past Driggs to Roebling. Cross the street and take a right to the school’s main entrance. (Nearest Exit Driggs Avenue)

• All freshmen whose families did not receive their blue welcome folders during our new student orientations will have those folders given to them during their 3rd period classes.
