"No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn"
Greetings!
We know there is snow in the forecast for today but we have good news...spring is less than a month away. We are so excited about the start of Spring that we've added a "Countdown to Spring" to our website! With the first day of Spring comes the promise of longer days, warmer weather, and green shoots popping up all over our yards. Since we're stuck indoors for a few more weeks now is the perfect time to start planning your spring plantings.

We have lots of virtual classes scheduled to help you with your planning. C.L. Fornari will be hosting Free Happy Hours on Fridays covering Herbs, Perennials, Annuals, and more - and she's hosting more in-depth Sunday Seminars about Garden design, Vegetable Gardens, and Pruning. In addition HCG lawn specialist Jamie 'Dekes' will be hosting a Beginner's Lawn Talk on 4/17; he'll dig deep into the best lawn care practices for Cape Cod. See our Events page for a full schedule and to register for these classes.

We are offering a special deal for our customers with Koi Ponds too - scroll down to learn more. And if the weather channel continues to predict snow just remember: winter can't last forever 🌼

Sansevieria, better known as Snake Plants, are hardy specimens that are more tolerant of imperfect environmental conditions than almost any other houseplant. One of the easiest plants in the world to care for, anybody can add a pop of green to their space with one of these!
Check out our greenhouse for a spectacular selection of different shapes and colors of these easy-to-care-for plants.

See our list of great native plants for Cape Cod.
A Native Plants list is important for homeowners and landscapers. It gives them choices in plant material that are beneficial for the health of our coastal areas. The plants on this list are also beautiful and do well in our Cape Cod environment.
