Get Ready for L.A.!

Hello wonderful people,

We are hard at work getting ready to see all of you in Los Angeles! Although we are sad there will be no ICANN Gala this year, we're excited to see that Music Night is back. Of course we're most excited about the sessions, panels, and other multistakeholder work that will occur in Los Angeles October 12-16. We hope to see you there.

We will have a booth at ICANN 51 as always so please come say hi!
New Partnerships

We are so happy to announce new partnerships with some awesome companies that are helping bring you our famous ICANNWiki giveaways for ICANN 51!

We've teamed up with .US and Neustar to bring you the insider's guide to LA: Sights, Bites, and Multicultural Delights. Stop by the ICANNWiki booth to pick up your free guide, and thanks to .US for making this guide possible!

The ICANNWiki Card Decks have been an ICANN staple for many years, and for this meeting we've created an amazing Card Deck with the help of Iron Mountain. Grab your deck from the ICANNWiki booth and check out the Hollywood themed cards!

Our good friends at Applicant Auction and NamesCon have come on board to bring you the personalized Caricature Badges for ICANN 51. Come by our booth to get your badge with your Name and personal caricature on Sunday so that you can wear it around for the whole meeting!

ICANNWiki Editathon in LA

While we are in LA, we are going to hold an ICANNWiki "Editathon" in order to help our wonderful community learn how to edit our wiki and contribute to the content we all use everyday.

Weds, 15 October 2014

12:30pm-2:30pm - Meet at the ICANNWiki booth and we'll find a spot from there.

Come anytime within those 2 hours!

In this session, you'll learn:

  • How to get an ICANNWiki editor username

  • How to edit articles and profiles on ICANNWiki using wiki markup

  • How to reference your sources, add images, and format your content

  • What content needs improvement and how you can add your unique expertise to the community effort.

All you need to bring is your laptop. This will be our first ever ICANNWiki Editathon, so we hope to see you there!

See you in Los Angeles.
