We celebrate another large group First Eucharist at our masses
this coming weekend. Congratulations to all of our families! See links at end of this email for more information and answers to most questions!
There is room for more participants.
If we add any more readers, I need to know by Wed., noon. They would most likely read part of the prayer of the faithful, unless there is a TBD to be filled.
NOTE: – please get back to me by Wednesday, noon!

Gift Bearers
will rehearse when you arrive at church

Lectors/Readers
should practice at home and practice with the team 1/2 hour before your Mass. If you see a TBD on a reading, parents, grandparents or big brothers or sisters can read with you!

LINKS: Copies of reading one and reading two for each mass: Prayer of the Faithful will be posted on the hub page.

Dear all,

For those who were unable to attend our final gathering on May 3, see the recording below and drop off your banner at the St. Joseph Parish Office, this week by tomorrow, Wed. if at all possible.

One Special note: When receiving the Eucharist; the host, as Fr. Jim shows you the host before they say 'The Body of Christ', you should bow your head slightly right away and then look up at him and say Amen - so that he can hear you.

When you have your second, third, forth, etc. Eucharist, and you are in line, you would bow your head as the person in front of you is receiving the host and when you get to the minister, you look up at them, hear 'The Body of Christ' and you say very clearly, Amen.

With both instances - when you receive the host, you must consume it immediately. We hope that this clears up any confusion!

Thank you for all of your attention to the formation of your family. You will all remain in our prayers, especially in the coming weeks.

Blessings and Congratulations!
First Eucharist Team
