WELLNESS MONTH

Wrap up your summer:
Prioritize Your Health and Wellbeing!
| |
It's hard to believe August is already here! As summer winds down and families begin preparing for the new school year, we encourage you to stay committed to your health. Schedules may change, but your fitness doesn't have to take a backseat.
Whether you're returning to a routine after summer travel or looking to establish healthy habits before fall begins, we're here to help. Every workout is another opportunity to honor God by caring for the body He has entrusted to you.
"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31
As our members know, prioritizing your health and well-being is essential for living a fulfilling and balanced life. Focusing on both physical and mental health can improve your overall quality of life, increase your energy levels, and enhance your resilience to stress. Incorporating regular exercise, a nutritious diet, adequate sleep, and mindfulness practices into your daily routine can profoundly affect your mood, productivity, and longevity.

Not familiar enough with our upstairs weight room? Curious about how the machines work? Want to know the etiquette for using the track? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we're got just the afternoon orientation for you!
Meet with Monda on Monday, August 3 at 1:00PM on the upstairs track. She'll fill you in on how it all works, explain the hygiene and etiquette of the track area, and answer any questions you may have about using a Gym Visit to work independently. We hope to see you then!

Prayers, please,
for our mission to Czech
From Amy: "This month, I have the privilege of leading a team from First Hot Springs to the Czech Republic. We'll be partnering with a local church to host an English and Multi- Camp in the beautiful mountains, building relationships and sharing the love of Christ with people from across the region."
Would you join us in praying for:
- Safe travel for our team
- Meaningful relationships with campers
- Courage to share the Gospel
- Open hearts among students and families
- Strength and unity for our team
- Lasting fruit that continues long after camp ends
Thank you for partnering with us through prayer. Your support allows us to take the hope of Jesus around the world.

Give those boots a rest!
Since Shirley Willis will be on the Czech mission trip, there will be no line dancing classes on July 30 and August 6. Pray for Shirley as she teaches line dancing to our Czech friends.

To my First Fitness family,
I truly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for each of you. During one of the hardest weeks of my life, you surrounded me with love in so many ways. The texts, calls, prayers, flowers, hugs, and the many faces that took the time to come to visitation and my mom’s service meant more than you’ll ever know.
Seeing so many of you there reminded me that First Fitness is so much more than a gym—it’s family. You carried me when I didn’t have the strength to carry myself, and I will never forget that.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving me, loving my family, and honoring my sweet mom. I am incredibly blessed to be part of this amazing First Fitness family.
Love you all,
Monda

First Fitness Instructor Retreat – August 28–30
Our fitness instructors pour into others week after week—encouraging, teaching, serving, and helping our members grow stronger in both body and spirit. This month, we're giving them the opportunity to be refreshed.
August 28–30, our instructor team will be away for a spiritual and physical renewal retreat, taking time to rest, reconnect with the Lord, encourage one another, and return renewed for the season ahead.
Since this is during the time the court is being refinished, the gym will be closed Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29.
,
Thank you for supporting our instructors as they invest in their own well-being. We believe that when our leaders are healthy, refreshed, and rooted in Christ, they are even better equipped to serve our First Fitness family.

Stay Consistent This Fall
As routines return and calendars fill up, remember that consistency beats perfection. Show up. Move your body. Encourage someone else. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
The strongest people aren't always the most talented—they're often the most faithful. Thank you for allowing First Fitness to be part of your health and faith journey. We love serving you and can't wait to see all God has planned for this fall.
See you in class!
