Dear Trinity Episcopal Church,

I want to thank you for showing up and showing out yesterday evening. It has been an incredible journey these past six years, and it meant the world to me that you were there to pray and give witness. I would also like to give thanks for every single person who volunteered their time to make this happen, you all helped make an intricate service possible, and that is no small feat.

So thank you to the staff, the Choir, the Ushers, the Daughters of the King, Altar Guild, and those who helped with the Bishop’s chair. Nothing in this church happens alone, and it is all thanks to you.

As I begin this next stage in my ministry, I am thankful that I get to start it with you all, and I am looking forward to seeing you Sunday morning.

With peace and grace,

Chase

Shortly after church on March 1st, the Youth Group will gather together for lunch, fellowship, and bowling at the movie theater/bowling center here on Galveston Island. Over the last few weeks, we have been asking our youth for ideas about fun service projects and outings that we could do together and grow in fellowship and faith. We hope this will serve as one of the first fruits of their ideas, and we look forward to sharing more information as the time comes, so be on the lookout!

If there are questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Rev. Chase Bradley at cbradley@trinitygalv.org

First Friday Lunch and Learn with Paulie Gaido

Paulie Gaido

Paulie Gaido – the Battle of Galveston

Friday, Feb. 6, 2026

Noon - Lower Eaton Hall

"I have always had a deep and abiding interest in the history of Galveston and the Civil War. In my view, what came to be known as the Battle of Galveston not only was the most important naval battle of the War, but arguably one of the greatest "David against Goliath" improbable victories in the entire history of naval warfare. The indisputable heroism and utter audacity of the officers and men of, what can only be sympathetically described as, the Confederate Navy, we movie-goers associate with the likes of Indiana Jones and Errol Flynn, but it is history, not fantasy, and it unfolded in our backyard." – Paulie Gaido

The Trinity First Friday Lunch and Learn is a free event with a complimentary light lunch. Please reserve your spot so that we may plan appropriately for our meal.
