First-Generation Celebration Week

Firsts Artists

Date: Monday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Nov. 10

Location: The University Center | Social Justice Hub, The Forum 5th Floor

First-generation students from across the university will showcase their artwork on the Social Justice Hub on the University Center's Fifth Floor.

National First Generation Student Celebration! 

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Join us for our National First Generation Student Day Celebration! Staff, faculty, and students across the university who identify/support first-generation students are welcome to gather to celebrate the journey and accomplishments of first-generation students across the university.

And Now What?: Finding New Ways to Thrive

Date: Thursday, Nov. 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Arnhold Hall Hirshon Suite

Join us in a space of listening and reflection as we share our stories and discover strategies to navigate the challenges of higher education.

Zine Workshop with The New School Archives

Date: Friday, Nov. 10 at 11:00 a.m.

Location: The New School Archives | 66 Fifth Avenue - lobby level

De-stress, cut stuff up, and learn about The New School’s past.
