WDOT Asks Sheriff's Department To Issue Citations On Closed Portion Of Highway 

A 4-mile stretch of HWY 18 between HWY 83 and HWY 67 is closed for roadwork. Only local access traffic will be allowed now through late October. Kettle Moraine was informed citations will be issued for drivers in violation of the closure.  

Our School Resource Officer Jamie Soneberg implores residents not to violate the closure and use the alternative route as shown above or take the southern route: HWY 67 to D to C to G to HWY 83.

Students Invited To Audition For The All School Musical "The Music Man"

Any KM student in grades 6-12 is welcome to audition or be a member of the crew. Auditions are the week of Sept. 12. Click the button below for info!

Girls entering grades 3-8 are encouraged to tryout for the KM Girls Basketball Club. Tryouts are for two mandatory dates. Pre-registration is required no later than August 8 at https://www.kmgbc.com.

• 8/25 - 8th grade (5:30 -7:00 pm KMMS
• 8/29 (7th grade - 6:30- 8:00 pm East Gym)
• 8/29 (6th grade - 8:00-9:30 pm East Gym)
• 8/30 (3rd/4th grades - 5:00-6:30 pm Wales Elementary)
• 8/31 (8th grade - 6:30-8:00 pm East Gym)
• 9/1 (5th grade - 6:30-8:00 pm East Gym)

Boy entering grades 3-8 are encouraged to tryout for the KM Boys Basketball Club. The goal is to have two teams at each level from third through eighth grades. Practices will be twice per week starting in late October with league games in the Wisconsin Youth Basketball League beginning in November and going through early March. Teams will also have tournaments head coaches will schedule during the season. Registration to open at kmboysbasketball.com later in August.

Save the date for the following tryouts for the 22-23 season:

• 9/7 - 3rd/4th grades (6:30-8 pm HS east and middle gyms
• 9/8 - 5th/6th grades (7-8:30 pm HS middle gym)
• 9/14 - 7th/8th grades (6:30-8 pm HS east and middle gyms)  

Please arrive 15 minutes early!

Your student in 4K to grade five can be part of the traditions of Kettle Moraine High School and participate in the 2022 Football Cheerleading Clinic Sept. 10 at Kettle Moraine Middle School!

Participants will be taught cheers, jumps and a cheer dance routine all while having fun with the KMHS cheerleaders! Cost is just $45 and includes a t-shirt, hair bow and poms for performance at the varsity game Sept. 16!
