FJTP at Red Rocks Macklemore Concert

While members of FJTP didn't actually have tickets to get inside the Macklemore concert, we had a great time. Arriving in the Red Rocks parking lot at 4pm, three hours before the concert started, Aaron entertained Macklemore fans playing his saxophone, while Nate and Beth collected emails and handed out FJTP flyers

Many fans were were tailgating before the concert, so connecting with them was a wonderful experience with such a receptive crowd. Many people told their stories of devastation and heartbreak about the horror being inflicted on the Palestinians. It was surprising to find out how far some Macklemore fans traveled to see his concert. One person traveled from Dubai.

Denver group Colorado Palestine Coalition (CPC) got Macklemore to announce on stage the upcoming event in Denver Together 4 Palestine on December 12th. Anees opened for Macklemore at Red Rocks and talked about Together 4 Palestine after the concert at Jerusalem restaurant by DU.

Macklemore & Beautiful Karma

In September of 2026, Macklemore was removed from Ed Sheeran's US Loop Tour for his support of Palestine. New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft, demanded that Macklemore be dropped.

Well, that backfired. All opening acts for Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour dropped out in protest including Finneas, Aaron Rowe, Beoga, and Lukas Graham. The Fray frontman Isaac Slay and American Idol finalist Brooks Rosser are now opening for Sheeran. That's Karma.

Reportback on Oct. 17th Demo/No Kings

Oct 17, 2026

Approximately 2,000-3,000 people participated in the Boulder No Kings protest according to organizers. A handful of tables were set up, one promoting Neguse. Several FJTP members loudly told the crowds about Neguse taking $1.1 million from AIPAC and pro-Israel mega donors. Other members walked with a "Free Palestine" banner through the people, while some collected emails.

An 8' x 20' banner that read 'Israel Murders Children" was seen by thousands. Oblivious Zionists stood next to this banner with their Israeli flags, seemingly exclaiming that "Yes, indeed, we do murder children". The irony went right over these clown's heads.

Today, FJTP was the cherry on the No King's cake. Dylan and Aaron provided the soundtrack for the event, bringing positive attention to the Palestinian cause.

Meta Shuts Down No King's Account

Meta Takes Down No Kings Instagram During Massive Protest Day

Oct 17, 2026

The protest coalition says Meta suspended its Instagram account for 90 minutes at the height of nationwide demonstrations--and even after restoring the page, locked organizers out of posting. Meta reportedly admitted it made a "bad call."

Who is Ezra Levin, Co-Founder of No Kings?

Ezra Levin is an American political activist and the co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible, a prominent progressive non-profit organization. He launched the movement in late 2016 alongside his wife, Leah Greenberg, after a 23-page Google Doc they wrote detailing grassroots organizing strategies went viral. Because of his work mobilizing thousands of local activist groups, Levin was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2019. The 'No Kings" protests are part of the Indivisible movement.

Levin was born in Buda, Texas in 1986, and was raised in the Austin area. His was raised by a Jewish father and a Southern Baptist mother. He identifies culturally as Jewish. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College in 2007, and a Masters degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University in 2013.

Indivisible was founded in 2016 following the presidential election of Donald Trump, creating a grassroots guide and movement to resist the Trump agenda and elect progressive leaders. He worked as the Associate Director of Federal Policy for Prosperity Now, a national anti-poverty nonprofit, served as Deputy Policy Director for U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), and was an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in San Jose. Levin co-authored the 2019 book We are Indivisible: A Blueprint for Democracy After Trump.

Indivisible is funded primarily by individual grassroots small-dollar donors through platforms like ActBlue, alongside various philanthropic and progressive network contributions.

Levin has stated that if a button existed to eliminate every Hamas fighter, he would support pressing it. He also accuses Netanyahu of clinging to power and making Israel and the world less safe for Jewish people. He has maintained that an immediate ceasefire is the only moral and strategic response. He has been described by his allies as non-Zionist.

Thank you George N.

I want to give a shout-out to George N. for going above and beyond. Instead of making 500 black and white FJTP flyers, he made 500 glossy, color flyers. Beautiful! Most were given out at No Kings and at Red Rocks for the Macklemore concert.

Spotlight on Rich Forer

Rich Forer was born in 1948 in Trenton, New Jersey. He grew up in a liberal Democratic family. His father was an attorney, his uncle was a prominent civil rights litigator and National Lawyers Guild founder, and his identical brother is a member of an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish sect. Rich attended Duke University. Rich lives in Boulder, Co. and is an author lecturer, and member of the human rights group First Justice Then Peace. You can find him on Substack, Facebook, Alternative Radio, videos on YouTube, and talks around Boulder.

A former member of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) with orthodox relatives living in settlements in the West Bank, Richard Forer has been to the West Bank a few times as well as to the Gaza Strip in November 2012. For his entire life, he supported Israeli policy, believing the Jewish State an innocent nation eager to make peace with its neighbors. Everything changed in 2006 when he underwent a spiritual awakening in which he recognized his common humanity with all people. Profoundly affected by this new Reality and wanting to share his newfound wisdom with others, he devoted himself to years of intense daily research culminating in Breakthrough: Transforming Fear into Compassion—A New Perspective on the Israel-Palestine Conflict (2010) and the New York City Big Book Award Winning Wake Up and Reclaim Your Humanity: Essays on the Tragedy of Israel-Palestine (2020)
