Our UNO Tournament Fundraiser raised vital funds for Sharon Manor, supporting transitional housing and trauma-informed services for local survivors. Congratulations to our first-place champions, and thank you to everyone who played, bid, donated, and showed up in support!

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our Sharon Manor team led efforts to honor the strength and resilience of survivors and raise community awareness. If you visited one of their tables, engaged with posts, attended the UNO fundraiser, shared resources with a friend, or donated—thank you for helping break the cycles of abuse for local households.

Trunk or Treat at Sharon Manor

Our team had a wonderful time at this year's Sharon Manor Trunk or Treat event for current and past residents! A huge thank you to everyone who donated candy, decorated their trunks, and most importantly shared their time and heart to make this year’s celebration a special one.

Volunteer or the Month

Kathy, our November Volunteer of the Month at Sharon's Attic, has been volunteering with Housing Solutions for over a decade and currently serves on the Board of Directors. She also loves working with the Sharon's Attic team and talking to and helping the customers that stop by. We are so grateful for Kathy's bright presence in the store and her continued commitment to the community.

Help Make the Holidays Brighter for Our Families

It’s that time of year again! We’re collecting $25 gift cards to help our Sharon Manor families celebrate the holidays. Gift cards from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Safeway, Fry’s, Ross, Marshall’s, Kohl’s, and JCPenney are especially helpful.

You can drop off gift cards to our Housing Solutions office (1500 E Cedar Ave Ste 86) by December 5th, or make a secure online donation in $25 increments—just include a note indicating it’s for holiday gift cards.

Your generosity helps make our Christmas Party on December 9th a joyful and memorable celebration for residents and their children. Thank you so much for your kindness and support!

Sharon Manor Transitional Housing

Last month, 3 households (2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kiddos!) experiencing homelessness and surviving domestic violence moved into safe, supportive housing at Sharon Manor.

First Time Homebuyers

2 northern Arizona households became First-Time Homeowners last month thanks to down payment assistance administered by our pre-purchase program! We're honored to help deepen roots in our community.

JoJo's Place Transitional Housing

Last month, we celebrated a JoJo’s Place resident’s transition to our Sharon Manor program! With a history of domestic violence, they shared how valuable the trauma-informed case management, groups, and domestic violence specific support at Sharon Manor have been to their healing journey.

Affordable Rentals

Last month, 55 households remained stably housed through our rental programs—25 low-income families in Flagstaff homes and condos, and 30 formerly homeless households at Oak Wash Homes in Cottonwood.

Vouchers for Essentials

7 households from our Sharon Manor transitional housing program and 2 from JoJo's Place used a Sharon's Attic home goods and clothing voucher, allowing them to shop for essential items and furniture at our thrift store. Thank you for donating your gently used furniture and household goods - it makes a difference!

Thank you Matador Coffee

A big thank-you to Matador Coffee Roasting and NAU’s School of Social Work for helping raise funds and collect winter coats for JoJo’s Place. Your support provides transitional housing and case management for local households experiencing homelessness. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by or donated a coat!
