The Chobe River is a vital ecological artery, shaping the land and wildlife along its banks. It draws elephants, guides predators, and sustains migratory birds, bringing life to floodplains, grasslands and riverine forests. Forming the natural boundary between Botswana’s Chobe National Park and Namibia’s Eastern Zambezi Region, the river places Chobe Savanna Lodge at the heart of a living frontier. From this vantage point, cradled by 270 degrees of water, guests experience an ever-unfolding spectacle of movement and connection. Intimate, elemental and unforgettable.

The main area is the heart of Chobe Savanna Lodge, where days unfold at an unhurried pace and adventure begins close to home. With 180-degree elevated views over wetlands, grasslands and the Chobe River, guests enjoy exceptional in-lodge game viewing as elephants, antelope and abundant birdlife move freely through the landscape. Communal dining (with private options on request), covered and open-air viewing decks, various lounge pockets, a fully stocked bar, buffet and coffee station create spaces to gather or retreat, while the pool and boma await just below. Sediba Sa Rona officially opens on March 16, 2026. The lodge, open for bookings, is common-rated with all Desert & Delta Safaris properties and is included across all packages. All lodge collateral is available on our Agent Portal here.
