Formed for Freedom

God’s promise in Exodus 33 is deeply reassuring: “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Even in uncertainty and challenge, Moses insists that without God's nearness, nothing else matters. We, too, are invited into that promise, resting confidently in the assurance that God walks with us.

Highlights this week (Holiday Weekend):

  • NO YOUTH AND KIDS SUNDAY NIGHTS (including Choir)
  • Church Office is closed on Monday, October 13th in observance of Columbus Day.

Get ready for a treat! We’re hosting Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 19, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM in the Arendell Street parking lot. This is a fun community event for all ages! Free Hotdogs for everyone! Dress up in your favorite costumes and bring a container to collect treats. Don't miss a chance to decorate your trunk and share the fun! Important: Please register online to save a parking space for your trunk decoration!

Hello Everyone,

Come join us this Saturday at Brandywine Bay Golf Club — rain or shine — for a special day of fellowship, heartfelt spiritual reflection, and camaraderie. We look forward to sharing this meaningful experience with you

Our day begins at 11:15 a.m. with a devotion led by Randy Miller, followed by lunch now that the kitchen is open again, and a 12:30 p.m. tee time if weather allows.

Whether you're coming for the fellowship, the golf, or both, it’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of friends old and new. Feel free to invite a friend, we’d love to see you there!

These images represent real children’s lives touched by shoebox gifts. The surprise, hope, and love these boxes bring. As our collection season draws to a close, we’ll soon gather to pack and learn about how your generosity travels beyond the box delivering not just supplies, but encouragement and the message of Christ.

October/November Collection Items are practical items: flashlights, compass, binoculars, eating utensils, wrist watches, sunglasses, and string backpacks.

Sewing Assistance Needed

The Christmas Shoe Box group would like to include homemade tote bags for the children to use for school supplies or personal items. We have sturdy fabric and patterns available. These will need to be collected by Sunday, November 9. If you would like to sew totes, please call Charlene Smith 252.342.8201 or Donna Bashford 252.626.8731.
