Thanks to the generosity of this congregation, the Christmas wishlists of 13 children in Thornwell's foster care program were fulfilled. Representatives from Thornwell picked up three car loads of donated items this past week.

An additional carload of donations was delivered to Greer Relief for their Christmas Morning Shoppe to help make the season brighter for our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Backpack Buddies program in 2024.

Your generosity has helped us feed students from Dunbar Child Development Center and Greer Middle School. With our love, Marguerite DeMaria, Amy Couch, and Ansley Wright.

Organ Dedication Recital and Reception

The dedication recital for our new Cornel Zimmer Pipe Organ is Sunday, February 9, at 3:00 p.m.

Dr. Brennan Szafron, organist 

Dr. Brennan Szafron is a native of Regina Saskatchewan Canada.  He holds organ performance degrees from the University of Alberta (B. Mus. with distinction), Yale University (Master of Music) and the University of Michigan (DMA).  Dr. Szafron is the adjunct professor of organ at Converse University and the Director of Music at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon, NC.

End of Year Giving - Items of Note

If you plan to make a contribution before the end of the year, you have several options:

1. You can place your donation in the offering plate any Sunday during the month of December.

2. You can drop your check off at the church office any time during office hours between now and 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st.

3. You can mail your check to FPC; however, it must be postmarked by Tuesday, December 31st for the donation to show on your 2024 giving statement.

4. You can contribute online through your Realm account or by going to www.fpcgreer.org and clicking on the "Give" button at the top of the page.
