Speaking of good food, I am so stoked that our friends at Flower Child are joining us as #RestaurantCommunityPartner for the month of August. Not only are they helping us out with meals later this month but they are also giving their guests the ability to add a donation to their online or app order in support of The Joy Bus and will match all donations, up to $5,000! And the ladies of AZ Women in Food, our local chapter of JBF Let's Talk Womxn, has put together beautiful Food Collab Packages just in time for Labor Day. Check them out here and get your orders in before August 30th.

The support that The Joy Bus receives from our local community is phenomenal! I want to give a huge shout-out to Four Peaks Brewing Co., for their continued collaboration with us and incredibly gracious support that they have provided to our mission of serving homebound cancer patients. And to Venezia's Pizzeria who showed up and showed out this past month as our July #RCP. I am so grateful that they have stuck with us through the years and have connected with our mission in such an amazing way. And while I am showing love to those who have continually supported us over the years, I am very excited to announce that The Joy Bus was chosen as a 2022 grant recipient by the Kroger Co. Foundation. These funds make such a difference in the lives of Arizonans and we are honored to be included as one of their community partners.
At The Joy Bus Diner, we have had all hands on deck to get reopened and stocked and have to send so much love out to Paneless Floor Cleaning, Boys Team Charity, and Suja Juice! Thank you all for helping us by donating your services, time, and products to keep the Diner in rad running order so that we can keep changing lives in our community.
Getting Involved
Have you been thinking about volunteering with The Joy Bus and haven't been able to find an available slot? Now's your time to shine! We have some openings for our Meal Delivery Volunteer Position and would love your help. You can view this sign-up and all of our other opportunities here and join our Volunteer of the Month, Tina Vogel. Tina is a 19-year cancer survivor who delivers some serious hope and joy to the patients she visits and we are so grateful for her!
We are also working hard to build our team of volunteers and community ambassadors and would love to have you join our team. Interested in volunteering but have questions?
