SoundTube's IPD Speaker Series brings the convenience of Dante control and management to in-ceiling and surface-mount speakers. With a single category cable, you can run audio and up to 40 watts per channel PoE(Power over Ethernet) to a speaker. Every digital low latency speaker in a SoundTube IPD system is individually addressable and self-monitoring. And, because these speakers are set up and managed via software, zoning is easy and there's no need to re-wire anything if system requirements change.
In-Ceiling Background Speakers
Dante®-addressable coaxial in-ceiling speaker incorporating one 6.5 inch (165 mm) polypropylene woofer with rubber surround and one 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) silk dome tweeter. BroadBeam Ring™ technology and a tuned port on the baffle provide smooth off-axis performance, mid-range clarity and bass response to 60 Hz (-10 dB). Low latency digital audio, power, and control are delivered to the speaker via standard category cable; connection is made on the other end to the STNet-Switch or other PoE / PoE+ switch.

Surface Mount Speaker
Dante®-addressable surface-mount speaker incorporating one 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer (134 mm) and one 1.0-inch (25.4 mm) convex titanium tweeter with BroadBeam® waveguide in an injection-molded, glass fiber reinforced ABS enclosure. Low latency digital audio, power, and control are delivered to the speaker via standard category cable; connection is made on the other end to the STNet-Switch or other PoE / PoE+ switch. May also be powered via a 24V DC barrel connector for non-PoE installations.
Open-Ceiling Pendant Speakers
Dante®-addressable coaxial pendant speaker incorporates one 8.0 inch (203 mm) high power coaxial driver with BroadBeamHP™ compression driver technology for long throw and smooth directivity. Low latency digital audio, power, and control are delivered to the speaker via standard category cable; connection is made on the other end to the STNet-Switch or other PoE / PoE+ switch. May also be powered via a 24V DC barrel connector for non-PoE installations.
Rack mountable 16-port 40w PoE switch. In addition to the 16 Ethernet ports, the STNet-Switch includes two gigabit ports to connect control DSPs and CobraNet® enabled input devices and is also used for linking additional switches. Also, a WAN port is provided for integration with an outside network. UL 60950 approved.
