All Contestants will Compete in the Following Two Areas of Competition:
RUNWAY COMPETITION
This is a free style runway modeling event. Attire should be a trendy casual Fall or Back to School inspired outfit. Please no formal dresses. Choose an outfit that showcases your personality. This is your chance to show the judges your unique style and have fun! The music will be fast and upbeat and we supply the music. Contestants should stop at each X on the stage, strike a pose, turn and/or show some personality! Hand held props may be used. NO stomachs should be visible for children 0-11 yrs. while wearing their runway outfit. Judging will be based on personality, modeling ability and overall appearance. Time Limit: 1 minute
PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION
This should be a head shot. It can be black and white or color. You will upload your photo to Dropbox with a link we will send you. Your full name and age will be the file name. Light make up is allowed by all ages for your head shots. Photos may be lightly retouched, cropped and/or have lighting adjusted. NO "GLITZ" PHOTOS PLEASE. Judging will be based on personality projection, facial beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity.
*Score sheets will be sent to you after the competition through email.

Wee Baby Miss: 2-12 months
Baby Miss: 13-23 months
Tiny Toddler Miss: 2 years
Wee Toddler Miss: 3 years
Toddler Miss: 4 years
Tiny Miss: 5 years
Mini Miss: 6-7 years
Little Miss: 8-9 years
Pre-Teen: 10-11 years
Jr. Miss 12-13 years
Young Miss 14-16 years

Age as of pageant day.
You do not need to live in the state to compete in the competition.
DRESSING ROOM
There will NOT be a dressing room provided for this event. Contestants should arrive pageant ready in their one runway look.
PAGEANT TICKETS
There are NO viewing tickets to purchase. Seating will be limited.

AWARDS AND TITLES
3 GRAND SUPREME QUEENS (0-5 yrs., 6-11 yrs. and 12 yrs. +)
The contestant with the highest combined scores from the Runway Competition+Photogenic Competition will be crowned the Grand Supreme! She will win a Large Rhinestone Custom Crown, Satin Embroidered Banner, $195.00 East Coast USA State Entry Fee Paid and Gifts!
15 Age Divisional Beauty Queens
The contestant with the highest runway competition score per age division will be crowned the beauty queen and take home the American Dream title! She will also win a Large Rhinestone Custom Crown, Satin Embroidered Banner and $100 Gift Certificate toward the East Coast USA Open State Pageant of their choice!
60 Beauty Runners-Up
In each age division we will award 4 Runner-Ups making a Queen's Court. They will each receive a beautiful rhinestone crown, award and a $50 Gift Certificate toward the East Coast USA Open State Pageant of their choice!
15 Event Winners
In each age division we will award a winner for Photogenic. They will each receive recognition and a award!
EVERY CONTESTANT WILL BE RECOGNIZED ONSTAGE AND TAKE HOME A GORGEOUS RHINESTONE CROWN AND NICKELODEON UNIVERSE THEME PARK TICKET FOR AUGUST 29th!
PRELIMINARY RULES AND REGULATIONS 2021/22 PAGEANT SEASON
Being crowned an East Coast USA Queen is an amazing opportunity. Should you be selected as a title holder (Supreme or Divisional) here is what you need to know about your year and what is expected of our royalty:
- No poor sportsmanship will be tolerated from any contestants or families. Those displaying acts of poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave without a refund and will not be permitted to return.
- East Coast USA is looking for ROLE MODELS. You will be expected to represent East Coast USA in the best way possible. This includes acting appropriately when using social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Should you be crowned it is encouraged that you attend East Coast USA appearances and seek out your own. You could WIN AGAIN! BIG! As we will be presenting CASH SCHOLARSHIPS at the 2022 National Finals for acts of volunteerism that you participate in with your East Coast USA crown and sash!
- Have fun! This is a family oriented competition where the sky is the limit with the amazing opportunities we offer. Make your experience one to remember!
RULES FOR RE-COMPETING AT OUR PRELIMINARY PAGEANT
Preliminary Level: This pageant is open to all contestants except for our newly crowned 2021/22 National Supreme and Divisional Queens.
