Let’s Keep our Church Beautiful!
As we gather for worship and fellowship each Sunday and throughout the week for events and activities, it’s important that our church reflects the love and care we share. We’d like to ask for your help in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for everyone. Yes, we do have our spaces cleaned weekly. But we can each preserve our spaces by placing our trash and recycling (for example, coffee cups and water bottles) in the appropriate receptacles whenever we leave the building. Especially since we’re using more water bottles with the water fountains out of commission, please make sure you take them with you or recycle them when you’re done! Thanks so much for doing your part to keep our church looking beautiful!

Who’s Graduating This Spring?
Please give the office a shout if you know of anyone in our faith community who is graduating from high school, college, vocational/trade school, etc., at the end of the spring semester. And just a reminder, graduates can be anyone from teenagers to adult learners. It’s great to acknowledge and celebrate these accomplishments by folks of any age! Thank you!!!

Revoking Temporary Protected Status for Our Neighbors from Afghanistan and Cameroon Betrays Our Values
Source: PC (USA) Washington Office
April 14, 2025
Church World Service expressed its deep concern over a report that the Trump administration intends to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 9,000 Afghans and 3,000 Cameroonians living in the United States. The decision will have dire consequences for Afghans and Cameroonians who have built lives, filled essential jobs, started businesses, and contributed to our communities. The termination of protected status for these populations comes as humanitarian crises deepen in both Afghanistan and Cameroon. Read the full CWS statement .
