WORSHIP WITH US!
You are invited to worship with us on Sunday, August 7th!
This week is the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost!
Worship begins at 11:00am
in person and on Facebook Live!
Our elevator is currently out of order. If you rely on travel from the Brown Street entrance to the sanctuary, please know we have a chair lift available on Hendricks Street to take you up the stairs to the sanctuary.
This week we are starting a new sermon series titled
"RSVP: Stories of Invitation"
The Session has called a Congregational Meeting to be held at the conclusion of the worship service THIS Sunday, August 7th, for the purpose of receiving a report from the Nominating Committee regarding candidates being called to serve as Elders and Deacons here at FPC Covington. All members are asked to stay, hear their report, and vote on the proposed candidates.

Upcoming Sermon Series!
Our fall sermon series (starting September 4th) will be a "People's Potluck of Ideas!" Neeley and Erin invite you to consider what YOU would like to hear US discuss in a sermon. We will only be able to cover a few in the three weeks of this series, but we'd love to hear all of your ideas! What is a faith topic you'd like to learn more about? What Bible story might you want highlighted? What do you want to hear us preach on? We invite you to send us your ideas and faith questions as we prepare for this upcoming sermon series!
Please email Neeley

Ever thought of planning your funeral in advance? Do you have all legal documents in order for your family upon your death?
Heavenly Prep is not about making sure your loved ones do the right thing when you are gone, it is about ensuring your loved ones don’t have to stress about what the right thing is.
All are invited to join our pastors for a time of conversation about funeral planning in advance. We’ll hear from panelists with expertise in End of Life planning. Practical tools will be provided including Funeral Planning and End of Life guides for you to complete and put on file at the church.
Dinner will be provided so please RSVP to catherine@fpccov.org or call the office by August 18 at 12:00pm.
As always, invite a friend! This is open to the community!
We have started a "Children's Church" monthly email offering!

Give-A-Bell Program
For continued growth of our Carillon Bell Choir, we need more handbells - a terrific challenge to have and to meet! We are incredibly blessed as a church to have the original gift of three octaves of handbells, and now we need to add a fourth.
Our Give-A-Bell fundraising effort provides an opportunity for ALL in our congregation to give to a handbell fund for the music ministry. Our goal to is raise enough for an octave of handbells, making room in the bell choir for an additional five ringers!
If you would like to make a contribution to the Give-A-Bell program, please click HERE to fill out the form and attach cash or a check made out to FPC and place it in the offering plate this Sunday or drop it off at the church office. Please put “Give-A-Bell” or “Handbells” in the memo space on your check or envelope.
Donations can also be made via Text to Give, by texting FPCCOV to: 73256
Please email catherine@fpccov.org with your listing details if you use Text to Give.
Contributors will be acknowledged in the worship guide by the name(s) given when the new handbells are dedicated. Thank you!
Any questions about the Carillon Bell Choir?
