Note about Giving through

Realm on-line and Text to give:

Our on-line software is set up to receive gifts for different funds for various purposes. If you PLEDGED (a stated amount for the current year using a pledge card or Realm) you are asked to choose the fund:  2024 Pledge; If you did not make a stated gift, but are giving for the support of the church you should choose the fund non-pledge. If you set up a recurring pledge gift using Realm or Text to Give in a prior year, you should reset the Fund for the current year to 2024 Pledge. For other funds you can search alphabetically for the one you want; if you don’t find one that is appropriate use “Other-Specify” and put the reason in the memo space.

If you would like to set up a 2024 pledge, you may do so on Realm or you can email me at: [email protected], telling me how much you want to pledge per week/month/year and I will set it up for you!

We give thanks for all who support with their treasure to FPC!

LENT AT FPC!

Lent 2024 Theme

Wandering Heart: Figuring out faith with Peter

This Lent, we are focusing on the life and faith of one of Jesus’ most famous disciples. In Peter, we see a person who is both steadfast and unsteady, a dear friend and a betrayer, a follower and a wanderer. In Peter, we often see ourselves. By following Peter’s journey, we watch the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a very normal human trying to figure it all out—just like us.

This Lent, we will look for ourselves in the stepping stones of Peter’s story. We will reflect on the stages of our own faith journeys as well as who and what has shaped us along the way. As we wander, let us tune our hearts to sing God’s grace. May we rest in streams of mercy, never ceasing.

Visit our Lent page!

General Ministry Information

Our WiredWORD class meets in the Gathering Room which is on the upper floor, through the Fireplace Room and near the restrooms. This room is sometimes referred to as "the old choir room" or "the old sanctuary" by long-time members. This class explores current events and discusses how our faith intersects and informs our response.

Our Foundations Sunday School meets in the Adult Classroom which is on lower floor classroom wing at the end of the hall way on the left. This class explores the lectionary scriptures each week, taught by a rotation of teachers.

Youth Sunday School meets in the Youth Classroom which is on the lower floor classroom wing. It is the first classroom on the left, past the restrooms. The class explores the lectionary scriptures each week, often as they relate to the weekly sermon.

Children's Sunday School meets in the Children's Classroom which is the second door on the right of the lower floor classroom wing. Children learn about God's love through the bible, play, and song.

Our finance team is working hard to finalize our 2024 Operating Budget but it’s not too late to make your commitment by offering your Time, Talent, and Treasures! Submit your Pledge Card today to be included in our 2024 Operating Budget!
