Stewardship: A Deeper Well
Stewardship is a time to reflect on how the church fills our cup and how we fill the church's cup. By considering how you plan to offer your time, talent, and gifts in 2025 and sharing those intentions, we are able to build our church budget and calendar in a way that reflects our whole church!

Stories of Stewardship: Bethany Wells
|
The first time my family walked into First Presbyterian of Covington, it felt like we were being welcomed by family and friends. What I didn’t realize at the time was that they truly are. Since that day, we’ve found a place where my husband and I feel seen, heard, and valued, while our children have discovered a community where they are welcomed, loved, and safe. FPC is more than just a building with kind people; it is a living example of God’s love in action. Through the youth group, our children have had the opportunity to serve others by assembling hygiene kits and collecting canned goods. We’ve been blessed by the chance to give back and have found a true home in this caring, Christ-centered community.

Space Update:
We are excited to share that our new security system installation is almost complete! We are grateful for the upgrades in our fire, sprinkler, and security systems. With anything new, we will have some growing pains. We ask for your grace and patience as we seek to be faithful stewardship of safety for our church family. We will soon operate under new entry protocols and we ask for your flexibility. Our goal is to ensure the safety of all who enter our doors! While we strive to provide a safe environment, we also remain committed to radical hospitality. If you have any questions or concerns as we roll out our new security and safety plan, please do not hesitate to reach out to Senior Pastor Neeley Lane or Director of Communication and Operations Catherine Laseter.

August Finance Report:
August was a better month than July! We had higher income—enough that we took in $354 more than we spent. We are still below our budgeted income so if you can catch up on your Pledge or make an additional offering to the budget, it would help keep us on budget for the year. Third Quarter statements will go out this week. If we have your email address in REALM you will receive it through your email.
We appreciate your support of the ministries of FPC!
--The Finance Team
Remember you can make your offering by sending a check or by logging on to your Realm account or by using “Text to Give” your offering! Text* FPCCOV followed by your donation amount to: 73256 and follow the link to give online. Select “2024 Pledge” if you made a stewardship pledge. Select “Non-Pledge” for a general offering.
| Finance Reports are updated following approval in monthly Finance Team meetings. | |
