Hello Faith Family,

VBS is one of my favorite parts of summer and we have planned three days of Bible Study, music, crafts & lots of fellowship time together. We have five families that have offered their front yards for our use to reach our neighborhoods and we are so excited. Registration is in full swing and we want to see these front yards filled with bubbling boys and girls. Please invite your friends & neighbors to register for the VBS Bible Clubs to be held on June 8-10 from 6:30-8:00pm. All children that have completed Kindergarten – Sixth Grade are encouraged to attend. There is still time to pass out door hangers in your neighborhoods.

Our Bible Studies are The Relationship Began, The Restoration Promised, and The Relationship Restored. We will end the week with a discussion that Jesus could have saved Himself, but He chose to follow God’s plan and give His life to be our Savior. His death allows us to live with God forever because it restores our relationship with Him. Jesus giving His life to be our Savior gives us reason to celebrate and cheer.

Our daily points are the God who created everything wants a relationship with us; God sent His Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world; and Jesus gave His life to be my Savior.

Our VBS Scripture is Colossians 1:15-16 – “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created through Him and for Him.” Pray that this week will see lives changed, families changed, and neighborhoods changed because they heard and responded to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please pray the following prayer points specifically:

1) That God will touch the heart of every child & volunteer with life-changing encounters with the Spirit.

2) Pray that our church will be a great influence in our community through our VBS.

3) Pray particularly on Thursday evening as leaders share the Gospel message with the children. We pray that above all else, God will be glorified.

P.S. It's not too late to pick up door hangers and hand them out in your neighborhood! They will be available in the foyer on Sunday!

Neighborhood Corner

Our heart as a church family is to love our neighbors and to be Christ’s ambassadors in the places where we live, work, and play. In an effort to love our neighbors well, we are compiling some helpful tools to assist us in this calling.
