Faith Family -
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. Even earlier than normal.
It’s hard to drive through our neighborhood and not see all the Christmas lights. The old rule of waiting until after Thanksgiving to decorate appears to have gotten an exemption this year. I can’t say I blame anybody! I think we all need something to celebrate this year! However, I must admit…. I don’t want us to miss Thanksgiving!
Ephesians 5:19-20 says, “Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Don’t miss those words “always” and “everything”.
I know it has been a hard year, but God has continued to bless us in so many ways! As followers of Christ, we have so much to be thankful for!
Will you take some time this week to reflect on all that God has done in 2020. Take some time to pull back the curtain and see how the Lord has been faithful! Praise Him for his steadfast love and grace! Thank him for His presence in our life and His leadership in these days! Give thanks for those he has put in your path and the salvation He has provided!
I am so thankful for the steps we took last Sunday to continue our commitment to love and minister to all ages in our community. In the days ahead, Susan Malone will be transitioning to a new position on our staff. She will become our Minister of Adults (55+) and Care Coordinator. We have also officially begun our search for a Part Time Children’s Minister. If you have any questions or recommendations, please feel free to contact me!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Pastor Chris
