navigate the challenges of grief. Each meeting consists of an educational video about a grief topic, as well as time to share with others in a confidential setting.

Grief Share will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. We will begin on Tuesday, January 14 and finish the 13-week session on Tuesday, April 8. Any adult from the community who has experienced the death of a loved one is invited to

Winter Clothing Drive

With Coats for Kids 2024 in the books, we are looking for any gently used: coats, boots, hats, gloves or scarves. While you are preparing your own families for the colder months, there may be something in your closet we may be able to use!

For coats: Preferably sizes 4T (toddler) to 12/L (youth) sizes, but we will take anything and use what we see fit, while donating the rest.

For boots: Preferably sizes 10-13 (toddler), 1-5 (youth) and a few 8-10 adults.

Lastly, the Christmas Season is a season of giving. While you and your family prepare your Christmas wish lists consider adding an extra pair of gloves or a hat to give to another child.

Please Contact Jessica Hoeft, Coats for Kids Chair, if you have any questions.

Christmas Program

This year’s Christmas Program will be Sunday, December 8th at the 9:00 worship service.

Preschool through second graders will be performing first. Their program is a short musical skit about that special Christmas Journey!

Third through sixth graders will be performing the Christmas play “Through a Child’s Eyes” by Shannon L. Bryant. Rehearsals will begin Nov. 3rd and the following Sundays will be split between lesson and rehearsal: Nov. 3rd, 10th, 17th. Sunday, Nov. 24th will be a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL so if

your child will not be here for the program, they do not need to attend the 24th. If your child IS participating this year, please have your child to the

church by 8:00am on Dec. 8th. Preschool through 2nd graders will meet in the

preschool area and 3rd – 6th graders will meet in the choir room.

Also, if any youth want to perform during the prelude on December 8th,

please contact Melanie Johanningmeier.

After the program we will have a celebration in the Parish Hall with treats and awesome fellowship. We would like to welcome all to join us.

If you enjoy baking and would like to donate treats, we’d appreciate your help. We are looking for a dozen or two treats per person (any kind). They can be dropped off beginning December 5th through the 8th. In addition, it would be helpful if you have your name on your container or use disposable containers. There will also be a sign-in sheet in the kitchen to put your name on to help us keep track of the folks bringing items in
