Prayer for Pope Francis

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: comfort and relieve your sick servant,

Francis and give your power of healing to those who minister to his needs,

that he may be strengthened in his weakness and have confidence in your loving care. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Volunteer Opportunity

Community of Sant’Egidio is a global lay Christian movement of volunteer communities focused on service to the poor, peace-building, and prayer. This Lent, Sant'Egidio invites members of the Oratory Parishes to join them in their commitment to those living at the periphery through their weekly outreach to the elderly at Hopkins Nursing Home, 155 Dean Street (not far from St. Boniface in Boerum Hill) on Thursdays and Sundays.  If you are interested, please contact Susan Cangiano at 917-817-3919 or email: susancangiano@gmail.com. Brother Andy can also tell you more about Sant’Egidio (arichards@oratorychurch.org).
