Dear Trinity Episcopal Church,

It's been a busy week here with Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday! First of all, thank you to everyone who pitched in to help - worship servers, acolytes, ushers, Altar Guild, office staff and volunteers, the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, the Daughters of the King - the list goes on!

This year during the season of Lent, all of us are invited to participate in the United Thank Offering. These "little blue boxes" are for simple monetary donations daily as a way to express our gratitude to God over the course of these forty days. The United Thank Offering then uses those funds for mission and ministry across the Episcopal Church. But of course, it is not so much about the money we raise as it is about growing in grace and thankfulness. So, make sure you grab your UTO box at church!

With prayers for this holy season of Lent,

Jimmy
