Art & Science + Paint & Animation
OLLI volunteer instructor Shoshanah Dubiner's painting “Endosymbiosis: Homage to Lynn Margulis” has been animated and is exhibited at the Centre de Cultura Contempornia de Barcelona in its "Science Friction” exhibition (June-November 2021). Shoshanah worked closely with animator David Domingo and consulting scientist John Kloetzel (also a volunteer instructor at OLLI) to transform the painting into an animated video. Click here to download information (PDF) about the exhibition with links to the animation and Shoshana's art. Congratulations, Shoshanah! And thank you for teaching at OLLI.

Shoshanah is teaching an OLLI course on "Patterns in Nature and Art" this fall. Check your catalog for details in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) section. Catalogs will be in mailboxes and available online on Monday, July 26.
