A little over 2000 years ago the world was changed forever in one week’s time. This Sunday, we begin our annual remembrance of Jesus’s Passion and the Holy Week that saved us from hell and ransomed us to eternal life! Here’s a quick look at how you can jump-start your spiritual life by walking with Jesus and His Church on this week of worship.

Palm Sunday, March 27
Participate in the joy-filled day of welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem at any one of these services!
Main: 9:30 & 11 am

Wednesday, March 31
Join this 30 minute midweek service for Holy Communion and singing the great hymns of the faith and choose to stay for lunch afterward!
Downtown: Noon

Maundy Thursday, April 1
Pastor Steve Ramsdell leads an outdoor service commemorating Jesus’s Last Supper before his crucifixion.
South: 6 pm

Good Friday, April 2
The Contemporary worship team and I will lead a service remembering the final hours of Jesus’s life.

Holy Saturday, April 3
Following traditions of the earliest church, this special Easter Vigil service should not be missed. It includes readings from scripture, singing of the most well-known and beloved hymns of all time, communion, remembrance of baptism, candle lighting, and so much more! In one sweeping movement, this worship experience will sweep you into the grand redemption narrative of God.

Easter Sunday, April 4
This most important day in human history celebrates sin’s defeat and God’s triumph over evil, pain, suffering, and death itself!

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
There will be a Celebration of Life for Randy Teague Saturday, March 27, at ll am in the Sanctuary at the Main Campus. Due to unusual circumstances last March, in-person gatherings could not be held, making it impossible for Martha to have a memorial for Randy at that time. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
YOUTH VARIETY SHOW
The Youth are going into Holy Week on a high note by bringing back the Variety Show! The students will display talents, gifts, and overall entertainment. Join us on Wednesday, March 31, 7-8:30 pm!
PRESCHOOL & KIDS' KASTLE REGISTRATION
Registration for Preschool and Kids' Kastle (both campuses) for summer 2021 and fall 2021-2022 will be Wednesday, April 7 in the Family Life Center on the Main Campus at the following times:
  • 10 am: First Waco members not currently enrolled in Preschool or Kids' Kastle
  • 10:30 am: Past Preschool and/or Kids' Kastle families
  • 11 am: Open registration
