Dear Bishop Moore Catholic Families,

The word that comes to mind when summarizing this week is TEAM. Our faculty and staff have collaborated well; sharing best practices, their tech expertise, and affirming and building up one another. Another key member of our team is YOU--our BMC families. We appreciate all the support, kind words, and suggestions that you offered. Most importantly, we are grateful to you for placing trust in us to take care of your child.

The safety and health of our BMC community is as always at the forefront of all that we do.
We invite you to review all of the measures we are taking, following CDC
recommendations, at our website. If you missed an email from us, or wish to refer to a previous communication, you can find all of those documents archived here.

We hope that you and your families will get some rest this weekend and enjoy some family time. We look forward to another great week.

Together We Are Moore!

Important Announcement from Athletics
Hello Hornets,
I hope this correspondence finds you well as we begin this very different year. This email is intended for families of student athletes.

With the spread of the coronavirus being what it is, with the guidance of the office of schools, and the recommendations of the CDC, we will not be utilizing the athletic lockers/locker rooms as in the past.

For practice, we will allow the use of the locker room to change and use the restroom. Personal belongings can be stored in the locker room during practice time only. After practice, all belongings will go home with the athletes. Use of the showers at this time, is restricted to athletes that have practice before school in the mornings. Those athletes will be allowed to take their belongings to their vehicles. Each evening the locker rooms will be cleaned and sanitized.

For games/matches, there will be no use of locker rooms by the teams before, halftime, or after the games/matches. BMC teams will use the same guidelines described above, change and store during the game, everything goes home after the game - no showers.

It is our hope that this is a temporary situation. We ask that you please continue to be patient and flexible as we move forward through these uncharted waters.

Thank you in advance for understanding.
Take care and stay safe!
