Welcome to the first issue!

What's Happening Now 2020 brought many challenges to all of us and Black Ops Rescue was no exception. To keep our clients and volunteers as safe as possible during the pandemic, we have pivoted to providing support and care for our established clients. Frequent check-ins and financial assistance with veterinary bills and other needs is our primary focus for now. When it is safe to do so, we will be placing pets with veterans again. We look forward to that day!

Bo & Tango Just before the pandemic hit, we were able to place cute little Tango with Bo and his family. As the family was forced to stay at home more, Tango's puppy antics provided a lot of boredom relief! He loves to snuggle with Bo and his young son and is respectfully figuring out the family's 2 cats. The family has even been able to go on a few socially distanced hikes together. See more happy endings here! How Our Pets Help Us We've all been spending more time at home and the vital role that our pets play in our lives has become even bigger and deeper. But did you know that there are scientifically proven physical and mental health benefits too? From lowering blood pressure and cholesterol to decreasing loneliness and the sense of isolation, science is proving that pets are good for people!
