We are delighted to return to the Spring/Summer Park Hill Art Festival, and will be in our usual location at the west end of the back row near Dahlia Street by the alley.
Finishing his junior year, Sam Daley joins us again with new block print art. He has been honing his craft during his several years of art classes at Colorado College. Below you'll see two of his new pieces and a view of him working in the print studio.
I've been spending a lot of time in the wood shop this Spring and have refined a few new techniques.
Species we'll offer at the Park Hill Art Festival
American Elm • Apple • Ash • Aspen • Black Walnut • Box Elder
Cedar • Honey Locust • Ambrosia Sugar Maple
Spalted Silver Maple • Sycamore
Our photo gallery below includes new items on TheShapeOfWood.com; click on each bowl photo to view it on the website. We're adding quite a few more this week.
Trish and I also appreciate you who helped us find some beautiful species this year and reincarnate from #TreeToTable. Shout out to our dear friend, Park Hill Yoga teacher Deborah Baker for her sharp eyes!
