VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FISKE GREEN TEAM: MAKE A "GREEN" DIFFERENCE!

Since start of October this year, our students have been composting and recycling at lunchtime all days of the week.  As a result of our efforts lots of organic waste have been diverted to the Black Earth Compost Facility and  the number of trash barrels has reduced from 6 to 1/2 each day.

Our collective goal is to make lunchtime composting and recycling self sufficient. In order to do this, we need your help. We would like to double the number of volunteers to effectively partner with the students and manage the process daily, until the students learn to compost and recycle independently.  Please consider being part of the Fiske Green Team, language is not a barrier and we also invite non-english speaking parent to be part of our growing team and "Make A Difference".  S ign in here -  Fiske Lunchtime Composting
