New 'Find a Fitter' Directory, New Tool Color, Conferences,
and More!
List Your Services

Promote your sizing and fitting services by creating a free (or upgraded and paid) listing on our new Find a Fitter website.

This new global bike fitter and fitting services directory website has just been launched by Fit Kit Systems. It's open to all businesses - bike shops, physical therapists, coaches, independent fitters - that offer fitting services, regardless of fitting education, services, or tools.

The aim is to replace the old Fit Kit dealer locator with a new fitting service locator that is kept current through renewable subscriptions (both free and paid). It provides advanced search features to help cyclists find the most appropriate fitting service for their needs.

It is going to require a sizeable number of listings to make this of genuine value to cyclists. Step one is to generate listings and step 2 will be to drive traffic to the site through promotion in the cycling media. Boosting search engine ranking will help generate business for you. This is the first bike fitter directory out there that is not tied to one specific fit school or credential. Help make it a great one!

Register and create a listing now on or claim and edit your listing if it is already entered.

Continuing Education

The annual Medicine of Cycling Bike Fit Symposium took place at the USA Cycling headquarters in Colorado Springs on August 12-13, bringing together a highly regarded group of bike fitters from the USA and further afield.

Presenters included:  Andy Pruitt (sports medicine and bike fit adviser to Specialized);  Mark Timmerman (sports medicine and bike fit adviser to Trek); Greg Choat (strength and conditioning coach); Curtis Cramblett, Greg Robidoux, and Brian Adams (physical therapists, fitters, and educators); Happy Freedman (bike fitter since year 1); Steve Carre (California fitter of note); and the legendary John Cobb.

Topics covered included: overuse injuries of the lower limb; foot evaluation and intervention; pelvic, trunk and core assessment; influence of crank length on aerodynamic positioning; case studies and more. If bike fitting is your passion, then this is really the best continuing education opportunity available for experienced and practiced bike fitters in the USA today. Give it consideration for August 2017.

Back in Black

There are those who love the look of the natural oak Fit Kit tools, and those who don't. So we have just launched a new color option! Our Inseam Measuring Device and Seat Height Tool are now available in ebony black! The new look is modern, clean, and sharp to complement the style of contemporary shops and fit studios.
