Indoor Fitness Classes Can Resume With Restrictions Statewide Starting March 22nd
Yesterday Governor Cuomo announced that effective March 22nd, indoor fitness classes can begin reopening statewide at 33% capacity, with health screening and contact information required at sign-in. Classes should be scheduled in a way to allow additional time for cleaning and disinfecting between session. Local health departments must inspect before or within two weeks of the fitness center opening to ensure compliance. Detailed Guidelines regarding safe gym and fitness centers can be found here, and will be updated to reflect the March 22nd changes soon.
