City of Williston allocates $272,573
in STAR Fund Incentives to Projects

Williston Economic Development - The Williston City Commission, City Administrator David Tuan and the STAR Fund Board of Directors have allocated up to $272,573 in STAR Fund incentives for projects and programs during the month of September. The recipients include a new autobody shop, daycare facility, skating academy, yoga studio and hair salon. Read More
Overland Aviation, US Customs and Border Protection celebrate Ribbon Cuttings at XWA

Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce held two ribbon cuttings on Saturday, September 11 at the XWA Air Show. The ribbon cuttings were celebrated at Overland Aviation and the US Customs and Border Protection at Williston Basin International Airport. Overland Aviation, owned by Tanner Overland, provides ground handling, general aviation and commercial aircraft refueling, deicing, hangarage, scheduled and on-demand aircraft maintenance plus charter flights.
Midwest Metaphysics, The Vault Yoga Studio celebrate Ribbon Cuttings in Downtown Williston

Milestone Health Partners celebrates
Grand Opening in Downtown Williston

Williston Economic Development - A ribbon cutting and grand opening was held at at Milestone Health Partners on Friday, September 10. The new business is located at 205 Main Street in Downtown Williston. The clinic offers physical therapy and behavioral health services. The practice is owned by Dr. Amanda Erickson, PT, DPT, Dr. Alyssa Suess, Ph.D., BCBA-D and Dr. Lindy Kirby, PT, DPT. Milestone Health Partners is currently building a new state-of-the-art facility near Trinity Health in Williston.
Beyond Nails celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Williston

Williston Economic Development - Beyond Nails celebrated its ribbon cutting on Monday, September 13. The nail salon, formally known as Williston Nails, is under new ownership. It is located in the Sand Creek Town Centre at 424 32nd Ave W, Suite 7!

WED launches Social Media Campaign called
Mini Match Monday

Williston Economic Development - Williston Economic Development will launch a new #minimatchmonday social media campaign on Monday, September 20, 2021. The campaign is designed to promote the Williston STAR Fund’s Mini Match program and its recipients. The Mini Match is a STAR Fund program that helps new business startups. Applicants must be in business for a minimum of 90 days and no longer than one year. Qualified applicants will receive a 2:1 match for startup expenses such as fixtures, furniture, remodeling, rent and more. The maximum mini match grant is $5,000. Read More

 on Exporting September 21

News Release - Join Western Region Economic Development for its first virtual membership meeting on Tuesday, September 21, from 3-4:30 p.m. The topic to be discussed is exporting. Summit scheduled October 12 in West Fargo

News Release - The North Dakota Department of Commerce has announced the recipients of the 2021 Main Street Awards.  “We are deeply grateful for the efforts seen across North Dakota by communities that are passionate about applying the principles of the Main Street Initiative,” Gov. News Release - With the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and increased demand for testing, CHI St. Alexius Health Williston has created a drive- thru testing clinic. Testing is also available at their Walk-in clinic.
