Store Your Jackhammers More Efficiently
A growing trend among tour level anglers is tackle consolidation. Carrying less tackle in your boat not only helps to increase the performance of your rig, but allows you to be more efficient while on the water. Gamakatsu recently released their series of G-Boxes, which includes the G-Box 3200 Slit Foam Case. One popular usage for this particular case that has emerged is for condensed storage of the Z-Man Evergreen Chatterbait Jack Hammer. A sufficient number of Jackhammers for a day of fishing fit perfectly in the case, keeping them safe and secure. Give this storage system a try and cut down on the unnecessary clutter in your boat.

Remember When KJ Let The Cat Out Of The Bag?
Over a decade ago the 2007 season of Ultimate Match Fishing unfolded on Kentucky Lake with a shootout between Boyd Duckett and Kelly Jordon in the final match. While Duckett eventually took home the title, the larger story to arise from the competition was Kelly Jordon's "secret" bait. In this information age of fishing, keeping a bait or technique to yourself has become virtually impossible. At the time Jordon was one of a handful of Lake Fork anglers who were utilizing what is has now become known as the big flutter spoon. "I started throwing the spoon on Lake Fork around 2005. It was a deal that Joe Spaits had tinkered with and some guys had gotten a hold of around Fork, and it was just lights out especially during the warmer months" Jordon says. Having the technique in his back pocket was one thing and keeping it hidden from fellow tour pros was something Jordon had been very successful at until that faithful week on Kentucky Lake. "I really debated bringing that thing out on the Ultimate Match Fishing episodes. I was weighing the pros and cons, but it was the only thing I could get the schools of fish I had found to bite so I had to show it." concluded Jordon. The rest is history as the big spoon craze took hold with numerous manufacturers jumping onboard the bandwagon and producing the big piece of metal.
