The incumbent will serve as the Safety and Occupational Health Manager for Zone 10, which consists of 9 Southern Arizona Parks; s/he will provide safety, health and risk management leadership and services to the Superintendents and staff on the direction, focus and implementation of the OSH program and coordinate and overseas the development of safety education and training material and the conduct of safety training programs for line managers, supervisors, technical specialists and workers in the park as well as park concessionaires. S/he will also develop, maintain, evaluate, and periodically revise parks' documented safety plan. To qualify for the Safety and Occupational Health Manager at the GS-0018-12 level, you must have at least 1 year of specialized experience (equivalent to at least the GS-11 level) which involves managing safety or occupational health program elements, developing and recommending safety and occupational health policy to higher levels of management, or other work that has provided you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.

SABIC is looking for a Senior Engineer/Site Safety Leader. The ideal candidate will have overall responsibilities for managing the Safety and Industrial Hygiene programs of our 450+ employee site while working closely with a dynamic EHS&S team. S/he will be report to the EHS&S Manager, the Site Safety/IH Leader will lead a small staff of professionals in the area of safety, industrial hygiene and emergency response. S/he will be asked to serve as the technical resource for safety and industrial hygiene, ensure safety compliance with applicable OSHA and Corporate expectations and maintain procedures, Coordination, review and planning of appropriate training. BS in EHS/Engineering discipline or equivalent education and work experience is required. A minimum 5 years' experience in Safety Engineering/Management and Industrial Hygiene in a manufacturing environment. Experience with OSHA VPP and PSM preferred.

Effectively implement and manage environmental risk within Georgia Pacific Corrugated, integrate environmental compliance and management systems into manufacturing operations and champion Market-Based Management® and Operations Excellence (OpEx) by coaching employees on how their actions connect to our environmental vision and create long-term value. S/he will participate in strategic planning process, track metrics to promote positive, proactive behaviors, support management of environmental talent positions across the region, and identify emerging issues. The Regional Environmental Manager reports to the Division Environmental Manager. Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or other technical discipline along with 7 years of environmental compliance management across all environmental media is required. Technical knowledge related to environmental topics with an emphasis on California Environmental Regulations preferred.

The Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Manager will be fully responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement to Orchard's sustainability, and environmental compliance programs. This position will plan, create, review and update policies and procedures, including all environmental-related aspects of the workplace and working activities, such as hazardous material management, Hazard Communication, Community Right to know, Storm Water, and Air quality reporting. Additionally, this position will need to stay current with regulatory trends, recycling best practices, environmental risk, waste management systems, lifecycle product intake and disposal, and reverse logistics. The ideal candidate will be asked to develop company initiatives, policies and procedures around environmental compliance and sustainability for energy, waste management, water management, store operations, real estate development, supply chain, and opportunities to improve corporate responsibility. This position is the in-house expert in regards to local, state and federal regulations regarding hazardous materials, waste management, and sustainability. Bachelor's Degree, preferred major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Sciences or related field along with a minimum 3-5 years' professional level EH&S program management experience, preferably in the retail industry. Current working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations including California hazardous waste regulations preferred, 40 HAZWOPER a must.

Armstrong Flooring Products (AFP), a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc., has a job opportunity for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to be located in Lancaster, PA. The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for providing global support to the AFP business unit pertaining to environmental, health and safety functions including audits, corrective actions, training, regulatory compliance and injury prevention. Key Responsibilities of Environmental, Health and Safety Manager are providing support for manufacturing plants and supporting organizations as needed, supporting training, policies and SOP development at new plant start-ups, mentoring EHS Managers in new and existing plants, operations and new acquisitions and participating in recordable injury and other reportable event investigations, root cause analyses and corrective action determinations. You will also participate in and owning various AFP-directed plant safety, health and environmental audits. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety, or other related field; or equivalent years of experience along with 3+ years of experience in management of EHS systems. Knowledge of safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environment and worker's compensation principles a plus. Lean a plus. OSHA 10-hour General Industry and OSHA 30-hour General Industry and CSP a must.
