Back-to-School Forms - Registration Gateway
The Back-to-School Registration Gateway has been updated for the 2022-2023 school year for annual forms collection, and is now open to the public! This offers parents the opportunity each year to review the information that the school has on file for your student(s), and to electronically sign all the required annual forms. If you are already registered, you do not need to re-register. This is simply to review the information we currently have on file and then sign this school year’s annual forms.

Please make note of the following when logging into Registration Gateway:
1. The Family Review functionality has been activated. Parents/Guardians will login by the youngest child to update ALL students in the family.
Parents will login to Registration Gateway with their youngest child's information:
Username - Youngest Student ID Password - Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY)* *8-Digit Birthdate, No Dashes/Slashes/Spaces, Only Numbers
  • Current Student Registration LINK
The District requires this information to be completed by September 30, 2022. Address changes cannot be updated in the "Current Student Registration Gateway." If you have an address change, please contact your student’s building secretary.
We want to provide ample time to everyone to complete the necessary student registration information. If you have any questions regarding this online process, please contact the Five Points main office at 937-748-6090.
Additional information about Registration and how to get started can be found HERE on our website!

MAP Growth Benchmark Assessment
Springboro students in grades K-8 will experience a new benchmark assessment system beginning this school year. We are excited to bring NWEA’s MAP Growth Assessment to our students, teachers and families. MAP Growth (which is replacing AIMSweb+, STAR Math and many portions of the IOWA Test) is a norm-referenced, computer-based, adaptive benchmark assessment that will measure students’ ability in reading and math. MAP measures what your child knows and how they are growing academically. The MAP Growth assessments will be administered at the beginning, middle and end of the school year. At this time, some classes have already taken their fall benchmark assessment in either reading and/or math, while others will be taking these assessments this coming week. Assessments include multiple choice, drag-and-drop, and other types of questions. Each assessment will provide teachers with immediate data to optimize learning by identifying learning areas their class should focus on, as well as monitor the growth of individual students. We look forward to sharing your child’s results with you.

School Fees
School fees are currently being collected and they may be paid on-line through PaySchools Central.

School fees for the 2022-23 school year are listed below:
2nd Grade: $89
3rd Grade: $89
4th Grade: $114
5th Grade: $108 ($130 for Camp Kern)

You may also pay by check; the check can be sent in with your child, and it should be made payable to Five Points Elementary. In the memo section of your check, you should write your child's name and note 'school fees'.

If you are unable to pay the entire balance at this time, we would be happy to assist you with designing a payment plan. Please contact Ms. Riegle, in the front office, to set up a payment plan.
School Lunch
Under the National School Lunch Program, lunches served to all students were at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year. The federal government determined the USDA pandemic school lunch waivers, which allowed free meals to all students, to expire June 30, 2022.

Families who believe they qualify for the Free-Reduced Lunch program will need to submit a new application for approval. If you are currently approved for the Free-Reduced Lunch Program, you would have thirty (30) school days to submit a new application. Applications can be found under the “Parents” tab on www.springboro.org.

Lunch prices for 2022-23
Grades 1 - 6  $2.55
Reduced lunches all grades $0.40

PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer offering cheese sandwich meals to students that do not have lunch funds. Students are permitted to charge their lunch in grades 1 - 8. They are not permitted to charge any snack items.

A balanced lunch is offered every day of school. Students may also purchase only milk if they bring lunch from home. In order to purchase additional a la carte items (i.e. chips, ice cream, etc.), students will need to have sufficient funds on their account. Please check your child's lunch account to verify that your child has a balance to purchase these extra items.

Lunch payments may be made on-line through PaySchools Central. Cash or check (payable Five Points Elementary) is also accepted. Free and reduced lunch applications are also available online.

Students who walk/ride their bikes to school will still enter through the front of the building through Doors 5 and 6 beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Car Rider Drop Off in the A.M.
Parents who drive their child(ren) to school will begin the car line around the building on the WEST side - at Door 3 (gym). PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CHILD IN THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. Drop off may begin at 8:00 a.m. A staff member will be at Door 3 each morning to monitor arriving students. Students will go to the gym until dismissed at 8:15 a.m. Parents will loop around the staff lot and exit out the west front exit. Please watch for students using our cross-walk.

Car Rider Pick Up - P.M. - DISMISSAL
The car rider line will form around the front of the building to the West side staff parking lot. Please stay on the left side of the lane as you enter school grounds, and then you were merge into one of two lanes next to the curb. Staff members will be present to direct traffic in the front of the school. PLEASE have your car number displayed and ready to go at ALL TIMES as you proceed through the car line. A staff member will be collecting numbers as the line forms. Students will be dismissed in groups based on your position in line. For safety reasons, students must enter the car on the curb side only. Please follow the direction of our staff members to ensure a smooth pick-up process. Please DO NOT park in the staff parking lot and cross the line of traffic to pick-up your child(ren).

End of the Day - DISMISSAL

Parents should not be parking and meeting students in the office unless you were called for a sick child, you forgot your car rider number, or special arrangements have been made with administration. We appreciate your attention to our dismissal guidelines.

Change in PM Dismissal Communication
If you need to notify the school that your child(ren) will need to change the way he/she typically goes home from school, please contact the office 937-748-6090 as soon as possible. It is always best to send in a note for the change when advance notice can be given. You may also email our receptionist, Patty Wolpert. Having the communication in advance, helps us to ensure we are able to dismiss our bus fleet in a timely manner.

If you send an email to your child's classroom teacher of a schedule change, please include Mrs. Wolpert (pwolpert@springboro.org) on the email as teachers may not have an opportunity to check their email in the late afternoon, prior to dismissal time.

Daycare Communication ... IMPORTANT
If there is a change in transportation, or your child goes home prior to dismissal, please notify your daycare provider of the change. This notification is extremely important as it will allow for our bus dismissal to happen in a timely manner.
