Happy 250th Birthday to us. We are still babies conpared to the rest of the world. To put it into persceptive; there are castles in Europe that are 1000 years older than our nation. There are also thousands of countries that have gained indepence since 1776 just as we have. Although we have became a powerhouse of freedom and wills in that short 250 years.
Because of those freedoms, American engineers have been able to create some of the worlds best automobiles. Reliable, safe, durable, affordable, and fast. Plus we have some of the best roads to drive on, too.
American auto makers were the first in producing seat belts (1949 Nash), airbags (1973 Old Toronado), power steering & brakes (1926-1928 Pierce Arrow), plus many more. As long as we have our freedom, we will invent more exciting things to comes.
Maybe someday the Jetson's lifestyle will become the norm. Be grateful that you live in the USA, which isn't perfect, but it's better than the majority of the world. Greatest thing of all, if you don't like it here, you have the utmost freedom to live someplace else. Have a happy fourth.
