Wasn't that an exciting October (said with sarcasm)? Two weeks of hurricane news put a damper on the start of car show season. I hope no classics were damaged by Mother Nature. Good things coming on the horizon...cooler weather, more shows, and holiday celebrations.
November is a big month for Veteran events since it is on November 11. Please support those whenever possible.
Also, Saturday November 2 turn your clocks back. We gain an hour to sleep, which I currently need. Please don't arrive to the November third shows too early.
And of course the biggie, Thanksgiving! With my new country home, the family comes to us for dinner now. But I eat and run. Daytona Turkey Run is where you'll find me Friday & Saturday under my little yellow FlaCarShows tent. I'm in a new place on the southside back road where the car corral meets the car show. They turned my old spot into a bar...yes you heard me...a bar.
While we are talking about the holidays, my other business is creating unique high-end chocolate bonbons. These are perfect for family gatherings, office & client gifts, party favors, etc.
I can ship around Thanksgiving once the weather cools a bit. With flavors like Old Fashioned, Blueberry Cheesecake, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Baileys Hot Chocolate...they have to be yummy!
