What is Flag Day?
Flag Day is the birthday of the stars and stripes. On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress authorized a new flag to symbolize the new nation, the United States of America.

Although Flag Day is not a federal holiday, Americans everywhere celebrate to honor the history and heritage it represents.

We at Dixie Flag have been sewing our nation's colors for 58 years. To us, the flag is more than just business, it's a living symbol of our history and our future. In honoring and saluting our flag, we demonstrate an affection for our nation, fellow citizens, and principles of liberty and justice on which our country was founded.
