In the Spotlight
From May through October, there’s a unique experience to be garnered at The Arboretum.   The gardens and buildings were the former residence of founder, Francis McAllister, who purchased the land in 1967.  The setting, at 7,200 feet elevation (2,195 meters) is unmatched with views of the San Francisco Peaks that have captured visitors’ admiration for decades.  Stroll along 2.5 miles (4 km) of trails, through towering ponderosas and more than 750 brilliant wildflowers and native plants.
