Last week at the 2017 Annual State of the School address given by our board, we highlighted the amazing things our students and staff accomplished this year. We would love for you to take a moment and view the presentation here. We are so proud of our dedicated, caring staff members and our creative, remarkable students - we want everyone to know what a great school Flagstaff is!  Have a great weekend!

Student Council 2017-2018 Elections

Student Council is in the process of electing officers for next school year. Being elected as an officer is assuming a lot of responsibility. We are asking each 5 th , 6 th , or 7 th grade student who runs for office to get permission from parents, indicating that (s)he is capable of handling the job.

Student Council Officers need to attend all meetings and Student Council functions. It is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements in case of an absence. Officers will be provided with many opportunities throughout the year to learn and demonstrate positive leadership skills. Student Council is looking for students who will be enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable.

The candidate's application (with a place for parents to sign) must be returned to Ms. Herman no later than Friday, May 5th, along with a copy of the speech the candidate plans to give.

To learn more and to apply, please visit the  Student Council web page.
