Dear Parents,

When we return from spring break, we start our CMAS and PARCC testing for 2017. Our testing window begins on Monday,  April 10th and ends on Tuesday,  April 18th. Click here to see the complete testing schedule for PARCC and CMAS. If you have any questions about testing, please contact  Abby Rooks, our Assessment Coordinator at arooks@flagstaffacademy.org

While there are many pros and cons to state testing, the data truly does give us good information on how our students are doing in relation to their peers across the state, as well as information regarding our current curriculum and practices. If you are unclear how we use this data, I would be more than happy to discuss it with you. So, make sure your kids get enough sleep and a hearty breakfast on testing days so we can get an accurate measure of where we stand as a school.

But enough about testing for now, it's spring break!  Whether you are staying home and spring cleaning, or traveling during the break, we hope you enjoy your time together and we will see back on  Monday, April 3, 2017.
