LeadershipLetter
LEADERSHIP LETTER: Abby Bok, Acting Principal, 3-5

Dear Parents,

With Teacher Appreciation Week beginning on Monday, May 6th, and the end of my first year as an elementary principal, I wanted to take a minute to show my gratitude for all our staff. As an administrator, I could not be more proud of our Dragon staff!  Our teachers and staff are the hardest working bunch I've ever had the pleasure to work with. They are compassionate, build strong relationships with our children, are approachable, and knowledgeable.

Our staff go above and beyond, day in and day out, to meet the needs of our students. They wear several hats on any given day: caregiver, nurse, detective, comedian, friend, counselor, coach, cheerleader, and of course, teacher. And they do it all because they love their job and your children. Every day is different and keeps us on our toes. Through all the smiles and tears, our teachers give their all from the time they walk in the door, to well after they are at their own homes.

A specials congratulations to Flagstaff's three nominees for the Encore Awards, presented by the Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley:
  • Chelsee Farrell, First Grade
  • Katie Cook, Middle School Language Arts
  • Sean Kemp, Middle School and Elementary Bands and Middle School Choir
Next week is our opportunity to show all of our staff how much we appreciate them. We have three short weeks left in these classrooms, with this group of students, and your special teachers. Let's make these next few weeks the best of the year!

With appreciation,

Abby Bok
Acting Principal, 3-5

2019 Board of Directors Elections - It's Time to Vote!

Ballots are here! Voting starts on Monday, May 6!

Dear Dragon Families,

Please look for your 2019 Board of Directors Election ballots in your Friday Folders (for prek-5th grade). Middle School will be given their ballots to take home in their advisory classes.

There should be one ballot per adult in each household. If you need additional ballots, they are available to be downloaded and printed, either here, or on the Board of Directors' Election website section

Please return completed ballot to the ballot box at the front desk or to volunteers in afternoon Driveline Monday, May 6th, Tuesday, May 7th, or Wednesday, May 8th. Ballots are due May 8th, 2019. Please DO NOT send your ballot in with students. Ballots turned in by students WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Thank you for all you do and let's GET OUT THE VOTE!
