CoreVirtues  Letter from Sharon Aguina, Executive Principal

Dear Flagstaff Parents,

I know that you feel a deep sense of admiration for our teachers and I want to personally thank parents who demonstrated this through words, deeds, and with gifts of flowers from our PTO during this week as we celebrated national "Teacher Appreciation Week."  Teachers are the philosophers, mentors, and guides for the students. Be it helping them with their studies or pointing them towards the right career path, teachers are the
guiding star for any student

"A teacher affects eternity, they can never know where their influence s
tops." -- Henry Adams

We want to applaud and thank our teachers for all that they do! Their dedication to students is an important gift that makes a lifetime of impact on each child. Teachers put an inordinate amount of dedication, time, and caring into their professional work. When visitors walk through our hallways, you can see children learning, working, smiling, and laughing. We have an warm and welcoming school environment where teachers foster both the learning and friendships that students will draw on as a foundation for their future success. Test scores have now become a way of life in the world of education, but it's vital that we not lose the wonderful moments and memories that happen each and every day. Those memories are because of the teachers that hurry to school each day to be here for our children.

As I look back over this year, we have accomplished much as a school community. I have enjoyed working with students, staff, and families in getting to know one another as we continue to strive for the academic excellence at Flagstaff Academy, every day! And none of the endeavors could be accomplished without our professional teaching staff!

Sincerely,

Sharon Aguina
Executive Principal
