SPRING BREAK - NO SCHOOL

IntheNews  HELLO FROM PRINCIPAL LOWE

Dear Parents,

Last Friday was an exciting day for us at Flagstaff Academy with our Junior Achievement presentations.  Students in grades K-8 had volunteers in their classes to help them understand the importance of finances and entrepreneurship. In fact, we had over 75 volunteers on campus, including high school students from Silver Creek's Leadership Academy and Longmont High School's High School of Business!

A few of the things the students learned about:
  • In second grade, students found out how businesses and government help a community.
  • In fourth grade, students learned the skills and traits needed to be an entrepreneur.
  • In eighth grade, students developed a business from start-up and had to pitch their ideas to potential investors.
Our students were so attentive and excited, and our volunteers had nothing but wonderful things to say about students and our school. All in all, it was a busy day filled with active, hands-on learning!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Robin Lowe ,
Executive Principal

2016-2017 Flagstaff Academy Parent Survey

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On Monday, March 6th, you received an email from Dr. Josh Packard and the Social Research Lab inviting you to take the 2016- 2017 Flagstaff Academy Parent Survey. Please take 5-10 minutes to provide us your valuable feedback to continue improving Flagstaff Academy to serve your family. The survey period is open through Saturday, March 18th.

We have some really fun incentives for classes who have the highest survey return rates - the top elementary and middle school classes will get to have a "Free Dress" day.

Finally, make sure to login to Infinite Campus to make sure we have the correct email for you!

We count on your feedback and thank you! Go Dragons!
