CoreVirtues  Letter from Sharon Aguina, Executive Principal

Dear Dragon Families,

I just want to say that the best thing about Flagstaff Academy is the caring and ambient atmosphere. I am thankful for our entire school community and deeply appreciate the warm welcome to the Flagstaff Family.

During the month of November, we're showing our entire staff how thankful we are to have them here at Flagstaff Academy. As you see your teachers and other staff, please take a moment to acknowledge them.

You can say:  "I just wanted to take a moment and say Thank You!"

Other things our staff loves to hear:

"Thank you for your support!"
"Thank you for your help!"
"Thank you for your understanding and patience."
"Thank you for all your hard work and dedication."

The list can go on, but I think you get the idea.

Here is a timeless quote about teachers by British Lord and Rabbi Jonathan Sacks in his book From Optimism to Hope:
"Teachers open our eyes to the world. They give us curiosity and confidence. They teach us to ask questions. They connect us to our past and future. We have lots of heroes today- sports stars, super models and media personalities. They come they have their fifteen minutes of fame and then they go. But the influence of a good teacher stays with us. They are the people who really shape our lives."

Have a great weekend!

Executive Principal
